1. About the Service
AI Qur'an is a free educational tool that combines access to the Qur'anic text, English translations, classical tafsir (commentary), and AI-powered contextual study assistance. The Service is intended to support personal study and reflection.
2. Educational Purpose and Religious Disclaimer
AI-generated responses provided by this Service are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute religious rulings (fatwas), scholarly opinions, or authoritative Islamic guidance.
AI models can make errors or produce incomplete information. Always consult qualified Islamic scholars for religious matters. We bear no responsibility for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to register. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately via the contact page if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers, or related systems
- Submit content that is abusive, defamatory, or intended to harass others
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without prior written permission

- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
5. User Content
Content you create within the Service (bookmarks, notes) remains yours. By saving content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display it back to you as part of the Service. We do not claim ownership of your study notes.
6. Intellectual Property
The Qur'anic text, translations, and classical tafsir used in this Service are sourced from publicly available scholarly works. The software, design, and AI integrations are the intellectual property of AI Qur'an and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on a combination of proprietary and licensed third-party AI technologies, as well as licensed photography and audio services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of those third-party services.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Qur'an and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
